Description
SATURDAY 23 JULY 2016: Every time Ruth goes to Spain she falls in love with the country and its food a little more, and can't wait to share some of her favourite Spanish dishes with you. Fine dining is fine, she says, but the real essence of Spanish cooking is in the family kitchen. Flavoursome and fulsome are not new concepts for Ruth's food, but she is so inspired by the Spanish family style cuisine they have taken on a new meaning for her.
Although most of us think of Spain as hot with endless sunshine, she says the ingredients, dishes and ideas she will share are ideal for mid-winter dining, warming both body and soul. An extra drizzle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil never hurts either. And in true Spanish style, paella will be served for lunch.
